Dom Varney píše:If Fuji continues with their recent battery naming scheme, then the "W235" means a tWin or tWo cell battery (T instead of W, would mean Three or Triple cell). The following three digits (235) represent the capacity, with the last digit (usually a zero) left off. Based on this information, we can speculate (although with a high degree of certainty), that the NP-W235 battery will use two Panasonic NCA103450 internal cells (the nominal capacity of these cells being 2350 mAh). IF (because this is speculation) the NP-W235 battery does use these cells, then we can work out the approximate dimensions of the new battery. First, we take the dimensions of the existing NP-W126S battery and subtract the dimensions of a pair of NCA673440 cells (that is, the thickness becomes doubled, because there are two cells). The difference gives us an extension of each dimension due to outer case and internal separator thickness, as well as allowances for connecting strips, and circuit board space. Now double the thickness of the NCA103450 cell (because again there are two of them), and add that same extension to each dimension, and we should get the approximate (minimum) dimensions of the new battery. I expect the new battery to be 36.4mm wide, 55.5mm tall (or long, depending on how you look at it), and 23.2mm thick. So, same width, slightly taller, and noticeably thicker. Weight is more difficult to predict, because we have to know , for instance, the weight of the new (and probably bigger) circuit board, but I expect the weight to be in the mid-eighties of grams (so approaching twice the weight of the current battery, which is 47g)

On the NP-W126S battery, the nominal energy is stated as 8.7Wh. That is the "rated" capacity (1200mAh) multiplied by the "nominal" voltage (7.2V). Using the same specs (rated capacity and nominal Voltage) for the speculated NCA103450 cells (2200mAh x 7.2V), we can expect a nominal energy of 15.8Wh, by their calculation method. (If you use other specs, for instance "maximum" rather than "rated" or "nominal", you can produce higher numbers, but I expect the new battery will be labelled 15.8Wh).
cport - vcelku je kolem "véčka" docela rozruch, až téměř zapadly další novinky z londýnského summitu. A který mimochodem byl docela hrozný (styl a místo prezentace). Já si pod výrazem "summit" představuji něco velkolepějšího.
